i've said before that i will save the best for last, remember? alright its gonna be looooooooong, so here it comes..
in 2 months of my summer holiday, i have done so many things that i would never even imagine that i would possibly do, and at the very end of the my summer holiday, i did something that means the whole world to me. I participated in a voluntary work involving medical students studying in Moscow, to go on Missions to help poor, unfortunate people around South East Asia, and Russia. and its called, The Malaysian Fellowship Missions.
its a Non-profit Organisation which consist of almost all medical students studying in Moscow Medical Academy and Russian State Medical University. and i got to know about the missions thing when i was in 1st year. Herman, now a graduated full-fledge Doctor, was the person that actually inspired and sparked the flame in me to participate in these missions. i wanna thank him in person so badly, because without him, i wont the same person as i am now. so THANK YOU!
this MF missions was found by a Malaysian student, named Dalvinder Singh. and the best part is he's from Kuantan, HOLAAA! :D he also graduated and is a Doctor now. he started the missions 3 years ago. the amazing part is the growth in participants, 3 years ago, only 20 students, then it gradually increased to 120, and this year, we have 350 participants, roughly i guess. pretty awesome huh? :D and i was one of them HAH!
so, the missions were all over SEA, countries like Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Russia, India, Cambodia.. etc were involved, and i was lucky enough to be in Team Philippines. and we were the pioneer team to do missions there, aha. :)
7 team members were heading to Philippines, Boss : Andrew Kok, Assistant Boss : Sylas Sebastian, team members : me, Kim Joibi, Radhikkha, Kate Chuah and Pan Ting Sun (who is studying in Volvograd, another town in Russia which is 8 hours away from Moscow). lucky number 7.

# and me. :)
# AirAsia is just a true blessing to all the missions. THANK YOU!
and so, we flied to Manila then to a city down south of Philippines with Philippine Airlines, called Davao City.
# Ass. Boss's name were on a sign in the Clarkfield Aiport. :D
# Manila International Airport
we arrived at Davao City and Heidi, our mission leader who was local, came to fetch us in her huge four-wheeled drive. and we went makan then off to a backpacker's place, i guess. it was very comfortable.
the next day, we were off to our mission destination, which is a village, deep deep DEEP inside the hills of Davao (i am so sorry but i really forgotten the name of the village, i am an epic fail i know). and the one of the best part is, we get to go up the hills with a truck with an open backside, wait that sounded wrong.. ahhhhh nevermind just look at the pictures then you'll understand ..
# got what i mean? :p
# the driver of the entire journey up the hill, most left. im sorry again for the obvious reason of not remembering names, i am failure thank you very much. -.-''
it was SOOOO AWESOME!! getting to ride at the behind of truck and wooing and jerking like a sakai who just came out of the forest at everyone who passes our vehicle, amazing. and also wanna give thanks to the driver as i mention before. he has been such a great help to the whole team and is just a blessing to have him. short info about him, he's a Missionary from Switzerland and have been staying in Davao City for almost 20 years now. he has been to so many missions up the villages in the mountains that he can speak so many of their different native dialects and languages, FLUENTLY! one of our team members, Kimberly Joibi, the girl in the above picture with the tongue sticking out, she's of half Kadazan (if i am not mistaken) and of half Philipino, and she was starstruck when she heared him speak, like literally O.O, aha..
and so, we went up the hills, the journey took us about 5 and a half hours. and we were nicely sun-tanning at the back seat, enjoying nature, saying hi to random people on the way. during the way up, we stopped by a small village to visit a native Christian school, where the headmaster's brother is working at the village that we were going to have our missions at.
# the headmaster is the 5th one from the left.
# on our way up. ;)
alright this post is gonna be in 2 or 3 parts because this is worth telling the entire story. more exciting ones to come, stay tuned! :D
from Russia, with love

i met this kid when we're on our way to Manila Aiport
he is one of the CUTEST boy i have ever met!
he was just clinging to me like a monkey clinging to a tree
the mum is the one behind
and he cried when the mum took him away from me
me too.. almost :)
and i will never, NEVER ever forget him
coz he left his little footprints in my heart that nothing can ever wipe it away..
